Meet Stephen, our Client Accountant at POD Management

In a previous job, I had an amazing opportunity to spend time abroad. Places like Holland, Canada, America, Abu Dhabi, France, and Italy. It was an incredible experience that ‘opened my eyes to the beauty of different cultures.

In my spare time, I absolutely love watching all sports. Though I might be old to hit the field myself these days, I still enjoy watching others play. I have two children and three grandkids. When I can steal a moment away from my busy schedule, I like buying books written by Stephen King and Jeffrey Archer. However, finding time is challenging recently, so I have about 6 books that I haven’t yet read! A couple of TV programs that I have enjoyed over the past year have been ‘The Queens Gambit’, ‘Squid Games’ and ‘The third Fear Street’ film.

At POD, I am a client accountant and it's my responsibility to produce meticulous accounts and reports for our clients.

There are quite a few challenges, the main one being deadlines. Reports must be produced by a specific working day and accounts also have time constraints as to when they should be issued to the leaseholders. Sometimes, it can be difficult to meet these timelines while maintaining the highest quality standards. However, having said that there's a sense of accomplishment that comes with delivering those accounts into the hands of our clients!

We have a great team at POD and everyone supports each other. You're never too old to learn new tricks, it’s a place where continuous growth and personal development are embraced and celebrated.
